Welcome! This is a crash course in the techniques and motivations of phonological theory based in formal language theory.
To get the most out of the course, make sure to do the readings by class on the assigned day. We will use class time to work through the technical side of things together.
Please stop by our office hours! We're there to answer questions, go into more detail about whatever you're curious about, or just chat and have a drink (alcoholic, caffeinated, or neither).
